I feverishly wrote and recorded this album between autumn 2014 and autumn 2015. My band Midlake had just played what we assumed was our final show, and I had just joined Mercury Rev. Then my personal life completely imploded and it took a while to get back to the record. Anyhow, here it is finally, like a snapshot from the before times. So much gratitude and love to all who helped make it come together ☼ Jesse
